This Awesome Drone Footage Will Make You Want to Buy Plane Tickets to Hawaii!

Shot in 4k Ultra HD by Eric Sterman, this awesome drone footage of the North Shore in Oʻahu (used interchangeably with “Oahu”), Hawaii is the next best thing to personally vacationing in the area but would likely make you want to pack your bags so you can experience this for yourself!

This wonderful video shows the beautiful landscapes of the surrounding areas as well as many awesome beach scenes you’ll never find anywhere else.

Of course, the footage could never fully reveal Oahu’s beauty but, thanks to technology, people from other parts of the world can check out the place in advance and marvel at its awesome waves and long miles of white sand beaches.

It would surely be wonderful to visit this place someday.

This is the best video I’ve ever watched that was taken by a drone! Prepare to be amazed! Eric recommends we watch it at its best resolution: 4K (that’s 4160 px!) but if that takes too long to load, even the standard/auto 480 px is already amazing enough…

Oʻahu, Hawaii

Known as the “Gathering Place”, Oahu is the third largest island in Hawaii. This is where you’ll find Honolulu, the state’s capital, as well as the infamous Pearl Harbor.

Mind you, the island is not just about the beaches. There are also lots of great destinations to visit yet tourists flock to the best beaches, anyway. Some of the top favorites are Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Waikīkī Beach, Waimanalo Beach, and Ala Moana Beach.

When you visit Oahu, you might feel a sense of déjà vu or think you might recognize the scenes but you don’t have to worry – that’s probably because the place has been used in many popular Hollywood films! And if you’re lucky, you just might see some of your favorite stars filming on location!

The island’s been featured on various TV series such as Lost, North Shore, and Hawaii Five-0. Films like The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Blue Crush, 50 First Dates, and Battleship (2012) have been filmed in Oahu.
