Dr. Lulu Marquez explained the negative health effects of gadgets during her interview with DZMM’s program “Private Nights”.

According to Dr. Marquez, gadgets as well as appliances emit radio frequency electromagnetic radiation (RFEMR). This invisible wave can easily enter our bodies and harm our cells. Men, pregnant women, and children are more susceptible to the damages caused by RFEMR.

Lowered sperm count and negative effects to the sperm’s morphology and mobility are among the damaging effects of exposure to RFEMR. Moreover, it is also believed to be the cause of rising cases of autism, higher probability of having Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, difficulty in sleeping,  and frequent headaches.

In order to avoid exposure to RFEMR, you must refrain from putting gadgets inside your pocket. When taking calls, you must use air-tube headset or speaker. You can also avoid taking calls by just sending text messages.

Pregnant women and children should also refrain from using gadgets.
