Mark Ruffalo Praises Pinoy Maker of Realistic Action Figures

He portrays the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and must have seen a lot of action figures of himself as well as other members of the team but American actor Mark Ruffalo, was quite surprised and amazed at the works of Pinoy artist Elmer Padilla who gifted him with one.

It can be recalled that Padilla went viral a couple of months ago after someone posted about his incredible action figures made from discarded slippers and rubber scraps.

The post propelled Padilla to fame, with people expressing amazement that the construction worker from Samar who went to Cavite to find a better life could actually make such incredibly realistic action figures out of recycled materials.

It is unknown how Padilla was able to send the Hulk action figure to Ruffalo but the actor was definitely amazed over what he did.

Quite grateful over the Hulk action figure and surprised that it was made from slippers, the actor posted photos on Facebook, captioning it with, “Believe it or not, this #Hulk doll is made out of recycled tsinelas (that’s tagalog for flip-flops). @elmerboytsinelas made this for me so I just wanted to give a nice shoutout. Not only is this inventively creative, but it’s sustainable and just pure awesome! Thank you Elmer!

The post has since gone viral, gaining over 20k likes and 3.4k shares. We’re quite willing to bet Ruffalo’s post will further increase Padilla’s fame. Would he be on the way to making more action figures for the international market? That is not impossible!

Ruffalo’s post is also quite timely as they are promoting “Thor: Ragnarok”. Padilla could be getting a lot of orders for Avengers action figures.

We can hardly wait for other Hollywood stars to also post about Padilla on their social media pages soon!

‘Boys will always be boys’ so they say.

Have you heard about your friend or neighbor who’s already married, complaining about their husband like they can’t figure out if they should get angry or just laugh because of their husband’s child-like behavior? Have you heard of them saying that having a husband is like having another child in the family?

Guess that’s absolutely true!

Just like this video where a husband is seriously playing with a cooking spoon but turned out that his wife is actually looking for it.

In the video, it seems like while in the kitchen, the husband had discovered what he can actually do with a cooking spoon!

It can be seen that the husband is seriously making a somewhat round silver thing float in the air, enjoying his time while his pregnant wife is busy looking for something in the background.

However, the magical moment of the husband did not last long for his wife had revealed his magic trick and ruin his momentum.

The wife can’t believe when she found out that the thing she’s looking for, which is the cooking spoon, was actually on his husband. She then hit his husband with a pot but not too hard though, just enough to reveal his magic trick.

It turned out that the silvery round thing that looks like floating in the air was actually the head of the cooking spoon!

The Trick

The trick? The man hid the cooking spoon’s handle on his armpit to create a magical vision where the head of the cooking spoon is floating in the air. What a cool and a smart man right? I’m pretty sure he managed to trick you. If not for his wife, no one would know what’s behind his magic trick.

Now, don’t you want to have a husband or a partner like this guy? Much as you want to hit him because of his immature behavior, admit it you find it cute and irresistible!

Angel Locsin Pushes ‘Golden Buzzer’ on Emotional Performance of Disabled Dancer

A disabled dancer and his partner received the second ‘golden buzzer’ for the new season of Pilipinas Got Talent.

Julius Obrero and Rhea Marquez performed a rather emotional dance on stage that brought tears to everyone’s eyes. While we’ve seen a lot of dance performances not just on the show but on other contests as well, this was among the most touching of all because Julius was wheelchair-bound.

But being on the wheelchair and only able to use his upper body to move around did not prevent Julius from making the best performance that wowed the audience, most especially the judges.

Even ‘Bad Boy’ Robin Padilla could not help but be teary-eyed as he watched the two twirl around the stage. He’s got a tough guy image to maintain but even the toughest guys can feel emotional while watching this performance.

There was no question that the two dancers had rehearsed their performance well and everything was well thought of, including the ‘pirouettes’ that Julius did on his wheelchair. But while Rhea can move around on all her limbs, her performance merely complemented Julius perfectly, earning them plus points from judge Angel Locsin.

As usual, judge Vice Ganda made jokes but was all praises for the performance, saying that he found ‘unconditional talent’ in Julius even if he was not able to find unconditional love in his life.

FMG was also impressed by the performance but as the four judges got ready to take a vote, Angel quickly pushed the golden buzzer! While many expected that the performance would get a golden buzzer, the audience still felt emotional seeing that the buzzer was actually pressed and gold confetti poured on the two dancers.

Robin gave Angel a hug before she ran to the stage to congratulate the two graceful dancers who will now go straight to the semi-finals. Congratulations!

Gone were the days when traveling to the northern part of the Philippines like Baguio will take one half to a whole day.

With road development like the Subic-Clark-Tarlac- Expressway (SCTEx) and the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union-Expressway (TPLEx), people from Metro Manila can reach Baguio in four-five hours.

For some, a four to five hour trip can still be boring for them, so Genesis Transport’s newest line of deluxe buses is a sure hit for these people.

A Facebook user Clarence Estandian Inso posted his experience on Genesis’ new Joy Bus Premiere Class. His post went viral because of how the bus is equipped with Airplane-style-entertainment system.

According to Inso, he always ride the executive line of buses of Genesis when he goes to the North. He has seen a lot of upgrade every now and then, but this caught his attention.

Every seat is equipped with individual Personal Entertainment Devices where you can watch movies, listen to music or even just charge your phone.

All PEDs are equipped with two headphone jacks so if you decide to watch a movie with your seatmate in one device, it will still be possible. Just bring your own headphones because they don’t provide it.

The current route that is available now is from Ninoy Aquino International Airport 3 to Baguio City with brief stopovers at the Genesis Terminals at Pasay and Cubao.

Expect to pay P700 for a one way ride. You can book a ride through the bus company’s partner websites I Want Seats and Pinot Travel.

Thank you, Genesis of thinking of a way to keep the passengers comfortable and entertained during their trips.
