Kuwait OFW Melirose “Mel” Balagosa: Alive And Currently In ICU

Melirose “Mel” Balagosa, an Overseas Filipino Worker employed in Kuwait, has been reported dead according to some sources after she was allegedly pushed from the 4th floor home of her employer.

New reports, however, confirm that she is still alive and is currently in an intensive care unit (ICU).

KuwentongOFW shared this breaking news recently on their blog saying that her own relatives have verified the information. In behalf of Melirose, they are asking for prayers to help her recover from the tragic incident.

It can be remembered that concerned netizens across the globe have expressed anger over what happened to Mel just last October 6, 2015, all of them clamoring for justice so that the alleged perpetrator will get punished.

A Facebook page called Justice for Melirose “mel” Balagosa – OFW in Kuwait has also been created to spread awareness about this particular issue. So far, 1225 people have liked the page in just a few days after being created.

Investigations are currently ongoing and we hope the Philippine government will really do their best with this. If proven guilty, then Melirose’ employer deserves to get arrested and be punished for the heinous act. No OFW deserves to be abused by anyone.
