Generous Girl Praised for Reconnecting Homeless Man with Family

A proud dad who videotaped the moment his young daughter fed a homeless man would later post an update that the viral video led to the poor guy being reconnected with his family.

It all started when Eddie Scott was having a meal at a restaurant with his 8-year-old daughter Ella. As she was preparing to eat her meal, Ella saw the homeless man outside and asked her daddy whether she can give him something.

The curious dad took a video of the moment, wondering what his daughter was up to.

Picking up her plate of steak and potatoes, Ella went to the homeless man to give him the meal. The man was sitting on a bench with his backpack. Looking matted and old, this homeless man welcomed the child’s offer.

Feeling rather proud of what his daughter had done, knowing full well that he had raised a kind and generous kid, Eddie posted the moment on social media where it quickly went viral.

But aside from little Ella taking the spotlight as a kindhearted girl, the video would actually reconnect this homeless man with his family who had been searching for him for quite some time.

A woman named Roseanne Salkowski called Eddie, telling him that the homeless man was her 62-year-old brother named David who suffers from post-traumatic-stress-disorder. They hadn’t seen him for 6 months.

Thanks to the viral video, Roseanne was able to find David and bring him safely home.

Check out this adorable video and be amazed by this young girl’s big heart:
