Family Sparks Outrage after Taking Many Things from Bali Hotel, Including Electronics

To ensure that guests feel comfortable and happy at all times, many hotels go out of the way to provide them with plenty of things in their accommodations. A lot of hotels make sure to provide all rooms with hair dryers, plenty of towels and blankets, hangers, elegant curtains, comfortable beds, and lots of shampoo, soap, conditioner, and even toothbrush and toothpaste.

While many travelers believe that the toiletries come free with the room, thus they often take these back when they go home, a family of Indian tourists recently went viral after taking so many things from their Bali hotel, including electronics!

The incident happened at The Royal Purnama hotel on Jalan Purnama Beach in Sukawati, Bali in Indonesia.

In a video that has gone viral on Twitter, the family could be seen trying to appease a group of men from the hotel who were going through their stuff. The family had already checked out of the hotel, but the hotel staff discovered that their rooms had been stripped of many items.

Upon inspection of their bags, several items were found. There were large bottles of shampoo and conditioner in some of the bags; obviously, such large bottles aren’t meant for the occupants to bring back home after the trip.

But what really outraged the hotel staff is that the family even got a mirror, hair dryer, some towels and curtains, and even electronics.

At first, the family got angry that the hotel staff went through their things but as more items were discovered in their bags, the family changed their tone and began apologizing. They admitted their wrongdoings but expressed their wish to pay up, knowing the hotel is most likely to press charges.
