Three best friends since high school go viral as they graduate med school together, reaching for their dream of becoming a doctor at the same time…
At some point in life, we meet people who become our best friends. There are times when these friendships eventually end for some reason or you simply drift apart and end up having new friends along the way.
But there are also friends who remain as we age; people who don’t go away despite the distance or the circumstances that might bring them apart…
Three friends from high school managed to make it through the years, staying together as they worked hard to reach for their common goal of becoming a doctor when they grow up.
Joieanne Marie “Ching” Macarubbo, Marie Clare Perez, and Jovine Martin recently went viral after Ching shared their photos and the inspiring story of how they remained as best friends from high school to med school.
“I can still vividly remember the day we took the first photo. The foundation of our dreams. Year 2011, the year we graduated high school. Never have I imagined graduating together again with these two, neither have we talked about going in the same school,” Ching wrote in a post on Facebook.
“We just found ourselves applying in the same college. We have gone through so much during the years, on the brink of failure, crying ourselves out almost every night, tired & restless especially during our clerkship, but never took quitting as an option.”
Thanks to this friendship she shares with the two ladies, they all made it through the difficulties of med school.
“Now, 9 years from that day, here we are, living our vision. Truly, the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. Wouldn’t have survived med school without you two ❤️ And of course the support of our dear parents ✨,” Ching added.
Congratulations to you all!
