This YouTube Prankster Dropped Two Huge Pythons On His Sleeping Girlfriend

Girls, how would you feel if you wake up one morning with two big pythons crawling on your body? Also, how would you feel if you discover it’s all your boyfriend’s idea for a YouTube prank? We imagine you wouldn’t be very pleased.

This is what Derek Deso’s girlfriend recently experienced. In a video uploaded on his YouTube channel, the prankster obviously went too far as he dumped two massive snakes on his sleeping girlfriend. He sneaked into her room with two camera men and a snake handler to do the prank.

He then woke her up saying “Baby, don’t move – there’s two ginormous snakes on your butt!”

She immediately began crying in terror and repeatedly asked that they remove the serpents off her but the men just watched and laughed the entire time. At one point, he even told her “He’s angry! He’s going up your butt!”

Eventually, the snake handler stepped in to get the snakes but the poor girl still couldn’t stop crying, telling him “That’s not funny!”

Needless to say, the video quickly drew mixed reactions from YouTube viewers. Some found it hilarious while others commented that the prank was actually “beyond cruel.”

Are Pythons Really Non-Venomous?

“All pythons are non-venomous, and most of them pose no threat to humans,” according to Reptile Knowledge. “But a handful of species do grow large enough to constrict and kill their owners. These include the reticulated and Burmese pythons, along with a few other species. If you want to keep a member of the Pythonidae family as a pet, you might consider the more manageable ball python.”

However, the site also warns, “Certain python species are potentially dangerous to humans. But it’s not because they are venomous. It’s because they are so large and powerful. They can quite literally squeeze a human to death, and there are plenty of documented cases to support this.”
