Working student Earl Soronio inspires with his post about juggling studies with his job, lamenting how he’s awake when everyone else is sleeping – his classmates and his co-workers.
“Being a working student is not easy. You really have to manage your time wisely for you to be able to balance school and work at the same time,” this inspiring young student wrote.
Many people are commending him for his determination and wishing him success in life, knowing that he’s working so hard to fulfill his dreams.
Working Student Laments Being Awake While Everyone Else Sleeps
“Mga kaklase ko tulog na, ako nasa trabaho pa.
Mga co-workers ko natutulog pa, ako nasa school na”
(“My classmates are already asleep, but I’m still at work.
My co-workers are already asleep, but I’m still in school.”)
That is how Soronio describes his life and struggles as a working student. Indeed, he isn’t just struggling to send himself to school but also juggling his studies with a job that also uses up the hours that he’s supposed to sleep.

On his Facebook page, he declares that he works with Ubiquity Careers Philippines and is a CSR (customer service representative) at PanAsiatic Solutions.
In a reply to a curious netizen who commented on his post, Soronio explained that he is already in his third year of college. And it appears that he also got his job around the same time he started his college education because he said that he’s close to reaching his third year in his job.
Despite the difficulties he’s facing, and the struggles that he certainly meets with the lack of sleep from these two different facets of his life, this inspiring young man isn’t even complaining.
Instead, he remains positive in his outlook, believing that God has plans for him.
“I know God has a big plan and I trust in you Lord,” he wrote.
He ends his Facebook post with encouraging words for other working students like him. What a wonderful young man.
