CCTV footage taken from Net2go Internet Café in Olongapo City shows two men casually rob the store of its earnings at around 3:35 am on October 15, 2014.
The robbers herded the customers and internet café staff towards the area with the computers, while one pilfered the cash register. Video uploader Lyn Madrona said the robbers also took money and valuables from the customers.
She said no one was physically hurt by the incident, though the robbers got away with various valuables from the customers, staff, and the internet café cash register.
In the second video footage Madrona shared, one of the thieves can be seen slowly removing cash from the register. It was either he was a newbie at thieving or he was too confident they wouldn’t get caught, he didn’t look like he was in a hurry to remove the money and stash it inside his sling bag.
Towards the end of the video, a young boy arrived to log-in at the net café. Thankfully, the robber simply shooed him inside but didn’t harm him, despite the young man surely fully seeing his face.
