Man Writes Letter to Wife after “Cheating” on Her at the Grocery Store

Jason Hewlett who was out shopping by himself saw a woman paying for her purchase at the cashier and immediately fell in love with her! Married man that he is, he was struck by how beautiful this woman was but she never even noticed him; he knew that it would be impossible to win her heart. It was a good thing he had won it a long time ago because this woman was his wife!

Confused, aren’t you?

It made him proud and relieved, of course, that this beautiful woman was his wife. Yet he did not try to embarrass her by moving up to her in the line and proudly showing to the world (well, to the people queuing at the counter, anyway) that she is his wife.

He posted the encounter and his realizations on Facebook, writing, “She rarely looks at Facebook so she won’t see this post, she won’t realize she was kind of cheated on today, but I thought I’d share with you all since I’m just a dweeby guy making my way through life, and at the same time sure there are those who have had the same experiences regarding their loved ones in one way or another, and these moments are perfect.

Lesson of the Day: It’s good to look at those we love with fresh eyes whenever we can to remind us how lucky we are to have their light in our lives.

Kind of embarrassed to admit this, but I think I sort of cheated on my wife today. To explain what I mean, I was at…
