How far would you go to ask forgiveness from someone you love? How would you try to win them back? Well, answers to those questions easily vary, and might even depend on what you did wrong and what your loved one likes to receive as gift or as a sign of forgiveness.
But there’s this mystery guy who wrote a love letter and had it printed on giant tarpaulins which he set up along BGC-Kalayaan in Makati, Metro Manila in the Philippines. The love letter caught netizens’ attention not just because of their size but because these showed the anguish that the guy must have felt after he lost Betty, the girl mentioned in the tarpaulins.

“Taray ni Betty! Sino siya? Along BGC-Kalayaan merong tarp na naglalaman ng love letter para sa kanya. Uwi na ba tayo dahil may nanalo na?! O advertisement lang ito ng Rejoice #HabaNgHair #NagrejoiceKaBaGurl,” Makiwander PH joked as she posted the photos on Facebook.
But who could Betty be? It really is anyone’s guess because there were no indications of who she might be, no surname written on the tarp, no photo of who she might be.
We do believe that if this love letter was for real, she would know it was for her and from who this was from.
Some netizens are skeptic that this was a real love letter, saying that it is possible this was some advertisement from some brand or even a TV network’s teaser for a soap opera.
