Security Guard Goes Viral for Treating Street Kids to McDonald’s

In many business establishments, whether shopping malls or restaurants and fast food outlets, security guards are often told to keep the street folks out and away from the shoppers. After all, these street folks most likely don’t have money to pay for the items sold in these establishments but would just bother the shoppers or diners.

But a security guard recently went viral for treating some street kids at the McDonald’s outlet where he is working. Many praised the security guard for his actions as others would have turned those kids away.

Netizen Jhanna Tiemsin shared photos of the security guards and the street kids, revealing that these were taken at a McDonald’s outlet in Malolos, Bulacan.

Tiemsin wrote of Facebook:

Walang kaarte arteng nilibre at isinabay na kumain ang mga batang kalye🖤

Maagang Pamasko re ni Kuya sa dalawang bataaa💕

Sana yung mga may kayas a buhay, di nagsasayang ng Pagkain. Kasi yung iba kailangan pang manghingi o mamalimos o di kaya minsan maghintay ng tira tira ng kapwa nila, makakain lang😌

Just like Tiemsin, many people were also impressed by the security guard’s act. A lot praised him for the kindness he extended to these kids,saying it might have been the children’s first full meal in weeks. Perhaps it was their first clean meal from a fast food outlet.

Others wished that people would be more open-minded about street kids.

“Ganyan sana sa mga fast food,, yung iba kasing guard sa fast food d pinapapasok yung mga namamalimos na bata o matanda,,sana sa ibang fast food ganyan din,at sa mga customer sana wag kayo maging maselan, kung may lalapit na ganyan, bagkus bigyan nyo sila ng biyaya pinag kakaloob sa inyo.. godbless kuya guard,” one netizen wrote in a comment.
