Back in 1978, Mohamed Bzeek who hails from Libya went to the United States of America to study but he would become what others would view as an angel for many dying children after he turned his home into a hospice for terminally ill ones.
Mohamed and his wife Dawn decided to take in children for foster care in 1989 but only accepted terminally ill ones. They provided these dying children with the love and care they so needed up to the last moments of their lives, treating the children as if they were their own.
The Muslim man showed compassion to so many children so much that he would soon become well known in the local community even when his wife left him after she became ill herself and struggled with her condition, leading to the breakdown of their marriage.

It was ironic that Mohamed and his wife broke up after she got sick, considering their dedication in working with sick children. The two split in 2013; she died a year later.
Despite the heartbreaking loss, Mohamed continued his charitable work. He officially turned his home into a hospice and the local hospitals would call him for referrals. He accepts these abandoned angels, taking them under his care until they die.
“I know she can’t hear, can’t see, but I always talk to her. I’m always holding her, playing with her, touching her… She has feelings. She has a soul. She’s a human being,” Mohamed said of a 6-year-old girl who has a rare brain disorder.
People have since provided help for this kindhearted Muslim man. In 5 months after a friend posted a GoFundMe campaign on his behalf, the $100k goal was greatly surpassed with the campaign receiving close to $500k from nearly 10,000 people!
