An 82-year-old grandpa recently went viral after he painted his granddaughter’s nails to make her feel better after she underwent a major surgery. A lot of netizens commented that he certainly is one of the best grandpas in the world!
Ayla Winter-White had the right side of her pelvis reconstructed. The major surgery left her in a lot of pain. One day, while her grandparents visited her at the hospital, her grandfather Keith offered to paint her nails in a bid to make her feel better and to keep her mind off the pain from her surgery.

Of course, Ayla was surprised as she didn’t have an idea her grandfather knows how to do it! But the old man went on to paint her nails perfectly, revealing his secret: he had been painting his wife’s nails for decades! Awwww. Isn’t that cute?

Ayla shared a short video on her Twitter account, explaining to her followers:
“My grandparents came to look after me after my surgery and my grandad told me he wanted to make me feel better, he told me he’s been painting my nan’s nails for 30 years and that he wanted to paint mine and I needed to share this.”
“How many coats do you have on?”
In the video, her 82-year-old grandpa could be seen painting her nails as intently as he could, but the strokes were actually quite neat and precise.
His wife could be heard puttering around the room, apparently looking for their car keys. She’s trying to ask him for help, but the adorable grandpa responded, “I’ve got an important job at the moment.”
