A 10-foot python latched its fangs onto the penis of a man in Thailand while he was using a squat toilet, a type of toilet commonly used in Asian countries.
The huge snake made its way through the plumbing of Attaporn Boonmakchuay’s home and reached his toilet.

According to the 38-year-old man, he struggled to remove the snake, which was “yanking very hard”. After 30 minutes, Attaporn successfully freed himself from the reptile with the help of his wife and a neighbor. His wife tied a rope around the snake, allowing Attaporn to open its jaws before passing out.
Luckily, both Attaporn and the snake survived the ordeal.
Emergency workers arrived at the scene had to dismantle the toilet in order to remove the snake. Rescue officer Danupol Tapo, who has been a rescue worker for more than 6 years, said that he has never witnessed an incident like this before.
“I had witnessed snakes [come] out of toilets many times, and when they bit [it] mostly would be at legs or butts. Not the penis, this is the first time,” Tapo told CNN.
Although Attaporn lost a lot of blood from his terrifying encounter with the snake, hospital staff at Chularat Hospital said he is recovering. Despite the traumatic experience, Attaporn managed to smile while being interviewed for Thai television programs in his hospital bed.
“He has a really good attitude… even though his own wife and children were in shock. He’s been smiling and giving interviews all day from his bed,” said Dr. Chutima Pincharoen, the hospital’s director.
Reports revealed that Attaporn intends to replace their squat toilet with a sitting one.
Photos of their bloody encounter inside Attaporn’s bathroom in Chachoengsao province, east of Bangkok in Thailand also emerged online.
