‘Star Wars’ Thrills Fans with Teaser Trailers and Exclusive Promos for Moviegoers

With the upcoming release of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens in December 2015, fans were thrilled to catch the teaser trailers released by the official Twitter accounts of both Star Wars and Walt Disney Studios over the weekend.

These teaser trailers feature very short clips directly taken from footage from the movie. Star Wars fans across the world are looking forward to the official trailer and, of course, the actual movie, but have to feel content with these teasers.

Several short teaser trailers were released over the weekend; one of which features a cute droid BB-8 who peeks around a corner inside what appears to be a spaceship. In that same teaser trailer, a hooded figure could be seen walking in a snow-clad forest with a long, red lightsaber at a ready. Do you have any idea who this figure might be? We’re surely excited to find out but you just might have some guesses ready for this one…

In other trailers, fans are given a glimpse of some of the main characters as they prepared for some sort of war or were looking worried as hundreds of enemy forces could be seen flying above. As the “force awakens”, fans could hardly wait for the movie release dates which vary, depending on what part of the world you are located.

Moreover, lucky fans just might get their hands on exclusive Star Wars merchandise which are set to be sold in select theaters across the world.

The luckiest fans will probably be those watching Disney’s Opening Night Event on December 17, 2015at AMC Disney Springs 24 at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, according to CNET. Aside from being the first ones to watch the film, they are also entitled to have a good time at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the private after-hours party!

For those who could not attend this momentous event, don’t worry because many theaters across the world will offer Star Wars merchandise. For example, AMC-exclusive “Star Wars” prints from artist Dan Mumford will be up for grabs, available to fans who buy tickets in IMAX 3D on Sundays from December 20 to January 10 at AMC Theaters.

There will be two exclusive Star Wars merchandise which will be offered at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in downtown Austin, Texas: a collector’s edition of “Birth. Movies. Death.” Magazine and an officially licensed Mondo-designed pint glass.

I wonder what merchandise will be available for us to buy from the nearest theater…
