A long distance relationship (LDR) can be quite tricky, especially if the couple is living in different time zones and both have to make sacrifices to keep the flame alive. Thanks to the internet and modern communication lines, it is easier to cope with an LDR these days but the couple still has to make sure they work hard to make the relationship work.
To keep their relationship exciting, one woman found a way to give her boyfriend various surprise gifts for every situation he might be facing. She left the gifts in his room. Each gift is placed inside an envelope which had instructions on when he is supposed to open it.

We’re not sure whether the boyfriend really followed her instructions and only opened the gifts on designated moments but we’re hoping he did.

Based on the photos the boyfriend shared on social media, his girl really thought of what moments he might need something to make him smile again as well as times when he needs to have a good time.

LDR and the internet
In the past, people in a long distance relationship have to rely on letters (we call them “snail mail” these days) to contact each other. These days, all it takes is a few clicks on the cellphone buttons or computer and you’ll be able to talk with your special someone. In fact, face-to-face communication has long been available, allowing people to stay close with each other even if they are thousands of miles away.
Of course, it takes more than talking daily to keep the relationship alive yet the internet has made sure that people can easily keep in touch. Thus, it is easy to say that the internet is a valuable tool for people in an LDR.
