VIRAL PHOTO: Worker Dives into Dirty Hole to Fix Pipe

If you think your job is difficult, then you haven’t seen what other workers do in theirs – for example, check out this now viral photo of a worker in Acton Municipal Utility District in Granbury, Texas who was photographed with half of his body inside a murky hole as he fixed the pipe.

Oh, by the way, it is the upper half (!) of his body that was inside the hole! We could only imagine the difficulty he had in fixing that pipe – and he surely must surface every few seconds for air yet he managed to do it, anyway.

Kudos to this guy for showing extra dedication! We sure hope he managed to fix that pipe so all his effort and hardwork did not go in vain.

After the photo went viral on the internet, the guy was identified as 23-year-old Jimmie Cox of Hood County, Texas. What’s even more amazing is that when the guy was finally interviewed regarding the incredible photo, he just shrugged it off as just another day at work.

He said, “[It] was about five-and-a-half feet deep…a full one-inch pipe was [sending water] full throttle,” into a woman’s home.

What he failed to realize is that he must be the only person dedicated enough on his job to actually do that!

I surely hope he was well compensated for that job he did at the woman’s house! For their part, Wrangler Jean Company will be sending him a new pair of jeans as they recognized his clothing as their own; though we think he actually deserves to be the brand’s model, eh?

Cox’s photo had gone so viral that it had reached former ‘Dirty Jobs’ host Mike Rowe. He wrote on Facebook, “I don’t know who this guy is, but he’s all over my wall, all over Facebook, and all over the Internet. Hell of a thing to have your photo go viral, and still remain completely anonymous. At any rate, if you recognize him, tell him the first beer is on me…
