Photo of Restaurant Manager Praying with a Homeless Man Goes Viral

It was a heartwarming gesture that many people found to be inspiring but for the manager of Chick-fil-A in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, it was just an ordinary action that he most certainly does every chance he could. You see, when a homeless guy asked the restaurant for a free lunch, not only did they serve him with a delicious free meal, the manager also left his duties for a few minutes to pray with the man!

That’s certainly something that you don’t see everyday – especially in a busy fast food chain!

The touching moment was shared by half of the couple who goes by the Facebook name of JoeynKaren Mustain. In the post, it turns out the daddy (we assume to be Joey) went to the Chick-fil-A restaurant for a regular daddy/daughter bonding time with daughter Stella.

While the two were enjoying dessert, a homeless man arrived asking for scraps. Instead of giving the guy leftover meals, the manager provided him with a full hot meal. Joey asked his daughter to watch the moment unfold right before her eyes, explaining the situation to her, and effectively teaching her a life lesson in love and compassion for others.

What a wonderful thing!

Sharing with Others

While humans may not be “required” to do good for others, it is heartwarming to know that there are millions of people out there who would easily go out of their way to help out, even when they know that the recipient could not pay them back!

When sharing with others, many of these generous people embody the “pay it forward” principle in that the recipient does not have to pay the giver back but should try to help out others in need, in any way they can. This action is their “payment” for the good deed done to them.
