Her father is a tricycle driver and her mother is an ambulant vendor but this did not hinder Eddielyn Morfe from achieving her dreams. She graduated magna cum laude and would later earn her license as CPA by ranking third!
Although her parents could barely earn money to meet their family’s needs and send their three children to school, Eddielyn strove hard to study so she can better help the family in the future.
She took up BS Accountancy at Isabela State University-Echague campus in Echague, Isabela. Her parents tirelessly worked to ensure she and her siblings can go to school.
Life was difficult for the poor family but they made their poverty an inspiration to strive harder to reach their dreams.
Eddielyn made sure she studied hard. Her hard work and determination paid off when she graduated magna cum laude!
Her parents were certainly proud of her achievements but she would soon make them even more prouder when she ranked third in the May 2018 CPA board exam! Isn’t she amazing?
According to Eddielyn, she shed tears of joy upon seeing her name among the topnotchers! She immediately hugged her mother.
“I would forever be thankful to my parents for toiling hard in sending me and my siblings to school,” the new CPA declared.
But Eddielyn is not just grateful to her parents for sending her to school, she also takes pride in the fact that though they were poor, they were able to achieve that. She is proud to show the world that her father might just be a tricycle driver and her mother might just be an ambulant vendor but they made sure their children are able to go to school and achieve their dreams.
By next week, Eddielyn would start living her dreams. She is set to sign a contract as Accountant at an auditing firm in Metro Manila. Wow.
