Top Business Ideas for Students

Who said students can’t earn extra money while juggling their studies? There are lots of ways with which students can earn some extra cash without sacrificing their studies or needing a lot of cash to start out.

Here are some business ideas that are ideal for students.

The ideas would vary, depending on a lot of factors including which school you are attending, what course/grade level you are in, etc. You just have to open your mind and check which items your classmates/schoolmates would need. For some, this could mean selling everyday stuff like pens and paper or just about anything that needed for school.

Be innovative. Think about what you would need or what you can offer to other students.

If you are good at some subjects, offering tutorial services can give you some extra cash while you also help other students pass their course.

Transportation Service

Again, this would depend on several factors but works well in places where not all students have easy access to bus service or have rides of their own. You can set up a carpool or offer transport services to and from school.

Delivery Service

You could team up with local businesses to offer delivery service during your free time or you could set up a business wherein you offer delivery service to students, bringing them various stuffs you pick for them at the local supermarkets or shopping malls.

Do you have a camera and a knack for taking photographs? Then you might want to start a photography service. You’d be surprised at how many students need a photographer to take excellent photos for their presentations or whatever needs they might have. Plus, if you are extra good at this, you might even find extra jobs outside campus.

Design and Printing Service

You might need to invest on some computers and printers for this one but if you are good at graphics designing, then you could use that to your advantage. You can design logos and various designs for t-shirts, presentations, etc. for individuals or school organizations. Plus, you can also earn extra money if you know how to print these designs on t-shirts, canvas, or paper.

Mobile Load Business

Most students are on prepaid mobile services, so mobile load business is a good way to earn money. Just make sure you are not breaking school/class rules such as using your phone while in the class else your teacher confiscates your phone.

There are lots of excellent suppliers you can find on the web for fashion items and various apparel. You can sell t-shirts, skirts, bags, jewelry, and various items to your schoolmates. This is a good option to sell because the stocks are not perishable and you could always use the items for yourself if ever not everything is sold out.

There are tons of other awesome ideas for you to try out there. You can experiment on which items are popular with your customers. You can even ask them for suggestions.

We hope we were able to give you ideas to help you get started with your business in school. Good luck!
