“That’s not me making that noise. It’s the mask,” she shrieks in between hysterical laughing.

Just one day after she uploaded the clip on Facebook, it quickly generated thousands of likes, comments, and shares from all over the world. As for the view count? Well, it easily attracted over 50 million views.

Netizens couldn’t help but praise the feel-good video:

Michelle Fallen commented:

“So much better than a video where someone is TRYING to be funny, and we just giggle a little. This right here…pure inner joy…radiating from within!”

Brea Graff wrote:

“Everytime you laughed, I laughed. I literally cried with you ‘cause I was laughing so hard! Thanks for making this video”

Also, Kyndra Ables requested:

“Lol! Please let the next video be of you driving and freaking people out on the road! Please!”

In an interview with Today.com, the stay-at-home-mom said:

“I feel like I really helped people, and that’s all that matters. People reach out to me, and they say, you know, ‘I battle depression,’ or, ‘I haven’t laughed out loud since such-and-such event.’ And that’s been so great. I’ve only been seeing positive feedback.”

The plastic Chewbacca mask was purchased on sale from a Kohl’s branch in Dallas for only $18.00. Because of Candace’s viral video, the toy has sold out on most stores. Reports say that the masks are now being sold on Amazon and eBay for around $200.
