This Guy Miraculously Survives after Being Dead for Over 10 Hours in the Snow!

Despite the freezing temperatures, Justin Smith of Pennsylvania chose to walk home after a night out with friends. When he did not reach home, everyone was frantic. Someone finally finds him lying in a snow bank, as cold and hard as brick.

Emmett Thomas, one of the paramedics at the scene, could be heard saying in a recording, “We’re on a scene with a 25-year-old male who was found laying in a snow bank. All signs… lead us to believe he’s been dead for a considerable amount of time.

At this point a coroner was called but the paramedics still brought Justin to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. He was supposed to be declared dead on arrival for all his vital signs are gone but his attending physician felt that he might still be alive.

Everyone must have thought Dr. Gerald Coleman was out of his mind when he instructed them to try and revive Justin yet the doctor did not back down even once despite the odds going against Justin’s favor.

Using various medical techniques such as draining his blood to remove carbon dioxide content and returning it to him, the medical team worked relentlessly to bring this dead person back to life. It was estimated that he had been dead for over 10 hours on that snow bank.

…and Justin began to show signs of life!

It would take days before he would finally open his eyes and he lost some body parts yet those did not matter in the bigger picture. What matters most is that even after he was dead for 10 hours or more, he is now alive – and that’s thanks to one doctor who refused to declare him dead!

Dead People Brought Back to Life

While many of us are fascinated (or horrified!) with the story of Dr. Frankenstein’s monster, there have been a lot of cases of people who have been declared dead (or had looked dead to the world) yet defied the odds to live again.

Just like Justin, many of these people have been frozen in some way – making doctors believe that rapidly freezing the human body might be a good technique to save life during certain circumstances.
