Known for giving amazing surprises to her fans, Taylor Swift once again picked out a lucky Swiftie who will receive an awesome package from her.
Among the millions of fans Taylor has, it was 25-year-old Rebekah Bortnicker she chose. Previously, Rebekah created a video mash-up of her idol and her friends having a great time and used the “Friends” theme song “I’ll be there for you” as the video’s background music.
Rebekah’s efforts paid off as the American singer-songwriter noticed it and decided to send her a special package.The 25-year-old singer’s bodyguard even personally delivered the “Swiftex” parcel to the lucky fan’s home.
The package included a handwritten note, a watercolour art painted by the hitmaker, a necklace with a note “was mine, now yours”, a polaroid photo, and a “New York Is My Boyfriend” pouch.
But the pouch contained a cheque that could possibly change Rebekah’s life. Inside it was a note that read:
“Rebekah, now you’re $1989 closer to paying off those student loans. I love the video you made of me and my friends and your text posts always crack me up or make me think.”
If you’re wondering why Taylor gave such amount, it’s actually in reference to her latest smash album “1989”.
