Chris Lapidez shared on TikTok that his parents were the primary reason why he never gave up.

He knew that his father went through a lot of hardships to send him to school. That’s why he wanted to honor him.

Highschool yung natapos ng father ko kaya pina-experience ko sa kanya magsuot ng toga sa PICC,” the young man explained.

Sabi ko talaga sa sarili ko before nung nag aaral pa ‘ko, once na makagraduate ako ipapasuot ko talaga kay papa yung toga ko kasi nakikita ko yung mga sacrifices niya para sakin and especially, I want him to feel that all of his sacrifices are worth it.

The moment was so poignant that many netizens also shed a tear, understanding the depth of this father’s love for his son – and how this wonderful young man also understood those sacrifices and wanted to honor his father.
