Rare Friendship Blossoms Between a Tiger and a Goat inside a Russian Safari Park

An unlikely friendship has blossomed between a Siberian tiger and a goat supposed to be the former’s meal inside Far Eastern Safari Park at Shkotovsky in Russia.

According to Mirror UK, a safari staff placed the goat inside the cage of the big cat known as Amur. Aware that Amur is used to killing and eating goats, he never thought he would see the fearless animal again.

However, zoo keepers were left baffled after finding that the supposed prey became friends with its predator. The pair had been observed frolicking in the snow together for several days. What’s even more surprising is the fact that the tiger allowed the goat to have its bed.

“We think that the goat never came across tigers and no-one taught him to be scared of them,” one of  the tiger’s keeper revealed.

“He kicked the tiger out of his bedroom and is sleeping on Amur’s ‘bed’ for the fourth night,” he added.

The keepers have named the goat Timur “out of respect for his bravery”.

Photographer Captures Wolf and Bear’s Unusual Friendship

A male bear and female wolf were spotted sharing a romantic deer carcass meal together by nature photographer Lassi Rautiainen.

According to Rautiainen, the two isolated hunters would meet up every night for ten days straight and happily share their meals together. The unlikely pals would even stay in each other’s company from 8pm until 4 am.

Rautiainen believes that the young animals became friends since they were both alone and were quite unsure how they’ll survive.

“I think that perhaps they were both alone and they were young and a bit unsure of how to survive alone,” he said.

Luckily, Rautiainen was able to capture the heartwarming photos of the unusual event.
