Every single day, this old beggar sits on the sidewalk to ask for alms from the passersby. By his side is a sign which read, “I’m blind, please help”. Some of those who passed him would drop their spare change; though most ignore him and went on with their lives.
A young lady noticed this, so she went to the beggar and changed his sign. Soon, the beggar began receiving lots of spare change from the passersby! This surprised him because he could not, of course, see what the lady did to his sign.
At the end of the day, when she came back, he already gathered a lot of money.
So, what did she do with his sign? She simply scrawled some words that made people feel thankful of what they had and see what this blind beggar could not enjoy, “It’s a beautiful day and I can’t see it”.
