Policeman Catches Suicidal Man Who Jumps from a Four-Storey Building

A Chinese police officer saved a suicidal man who jumped off a four-storey building by using his own body to cushion his fall.

The  troubled man believed to have taken hallucinogenic drugs was spotted threatening to jump from the top of the scaffolding set up around the building. Police officers immediately arrived at the scene and attempted to convince the man to come down. They also set up a safety cushion on the pavement below in case the man decides the jump.

But before the safety cushion had been put into place, the troubled man leapt from the apartment block.

Luckily, a heroic police officer named Liang Xiao rushed to catch the man and used his body to cushion the man’s fall.

Both men were brought to a hospital in Guangxi in southern China. Fortunately, the two men survived the incident.

Although the condition of the troubled man is undetermined, Liang is currently recovering after sustaining a broken left foot, multiple bruises, and facial swelling.

Female Police Officer Saves Grandson from Drowning

A female Deer Park Police Officer named Tina Taylor saved her three-year-old grandson from drowning in a swimming pool.

The incident happened during a family reunion at a Pasadena home. After hearing screams, Tina rushed outside and found the boy being pulled out of the water. According to the boy’s mother, the toddler was found unconscious and blue.

Since Tina teaches pool safety, she was aware of the imminent condition and quickly responded.

After performing CPR, the child was able to breath and was rushed to the hospital. The boy has recovered from the incident.

“I am not a hero, I’m not that’s not how that happened. This is God, I’m a tool for God in that situation and that’s wonderful,” says Tina.
