Pinay Girl Goes Viral for Having Over 200 Scholastic Medals

A 16-year-old girl from Lingayen, Pangasinan in the Philippines has recently gone viral for her incredible collection of over 200 scholastic medals she received from various activities at her school, Pangasinan National High School (PNHS).

In a now viral post on Facebook, April Christelle T. De Leon posted several photos with her medals, writing, “These memories will forever be treasured and will always be with me wherever I go. Goodbye Lingayen, Pangasinan.

As could be expected from the medals in the photo, April is the smartest of her batch. From Grade 1 to Grade 10, she excelled as the first in class. She graduated valedictorian from Grade 6 and was the only one in the Junior High School class to receive a general average higher than 98%.

Aside from the medals she received as an honor student, April also got medals from winning various school activities such as quiz bowls. She’s also a young journalist and has represented her school in various competitions.

I was able to represent my schools – Lingayen I Central School and Pangasinan National in national finals of different contests for nine times,” April revealed.

But April is truly the complete package. For aside from being an intelligent young lady, she has also won in various beauty competitions! For instance, she was named as Lakambini ng Wika, Miss A1, Miss United Nations, and Miss Earth.

The young lady surely has beauty and brains! But we wouldn’t be able to hear about her national achievements in the coming years because she and her family are migrating to the US.

April, her parents Engr. Bobby B. De Leon and Dr. Maria Luz Tesoro De Leon, and older brother Vic Howard T. De Leon will move to Chicago, Illinois where she will complete her senior high school.

April plans to study BS Biology before proceeding to Medical School.
