Photo of Sad Owner in Empty Donut Shop Goes Viral, One Tweet Changed Everything

There are so many things to take into consideration when opening a business – and one of these is finding customers to visit your shop. No matter how delicious your food might be or how excellent the service you offer, your business will never thrive if you don’t have customers.

After the grand opening of a donut shop in Missouri City, Texas, an old couple were excited to sell their delicious donuts and boudin kolaches. The food was great; everything in the shop was in order – the only problem was there are no customers!

A young man named Billy By was feeling glum because his dad was sad that they had no customers in their new donut shop. So, he posted a tweet of the sad old man in the empty donut shop in hopes that some people would take notice and, perhaps, visit the shop for a donut or two.

My dad is sad cause no one is coming to his new donut shop 😭,” Billy wrote on his Twitter account.

Amazingly, though, the tweet went viral! It has since received over 320k retweets and more than 732k likes.
