Must-Watch: Russian Player Does Epic Ice Hockey Trick

Ice hockey isn’t everyone’s favorite sports but this Russian player’s epic moves in the ice will truly amaze you.

Nikita Gusev, a 22-year-old forward for Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk, stunned everyone with his ice hockey skills during the KHL All-Star festivities last weekend. After scoring 28 points for his team, Gusev made it to the all-star squad.

So how exactly did this Lightning draft pick steal the show?

Gusev did an incredible lacrosse-style goal during the shootout skills competition. He placed the hockey puck between his legs, then pressed the stick blade down behind him. Then, he lifted the puck back through his legs, did a full 360-degree turn and fired a shot into the goal.

Stanislav Galimov, the goalie, basically didn’t see that amazing shot coming. It seemed that everyone at the Bolshoi Ice Dome was impressed by the young man’s trick.

The amazing moment was captured on video and posted on Youtube last January 25. Currently, it has nearly 3 million views on Youtube.
