With the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hitting theaters across the world soon, now is definitely the best time for baker Rose Macefield to show her awesome creation.
This 42-year-old mother of four from Dudley of West Midlands in England has baked awesome life-size cakes of DC Comics’ most iconic superheroes, Batman and Superman. According to a blog post by Metro, Rose devoted about 300 hours crafting the masterpiece which will be displayed at the Cake International competition which will be held at Birmingham’s NEC.

The cakes contain 60 kilos of sugar paste and Rice Crispies plus it is built around a metal and plastic frame to keep the characters standing upright.
Rose started baking about 8 years ago when she decided to try it out for her son’s christening. In 2009, she already started joining cake competitions. She eventually won the “best in show” award at a Cake International contest and now she often gets invited to be a judge for various cake shows. She has likewise published her first book entitled ‘Sensational Sculpted Cakes.’
Rose shared:
“I’ve always liked doing crafty things like drawing and painting.
‘When it came to my youngest son’s christening I thought it would be really nice to make it myself. It was then I discovered this passion for cake and sugar sculpture which has turned my life around.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled for a Philippine release this coming Saturday, March 26, 2016.
The movie features Hollywood superstars Henry Cavill (Superman/Clark Kent), Ben Affleck (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman/Diana Prince), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), and Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor). The film has been directed by Zack Synder, the guy who directed 2013’s Man of Steel.
