Mother and daughter team Kelley Kime and Hope earned two golden tickets to the 14th season of American Idol.
A single mom, Kelley brought her 3-year-old daughter to the show’s audition and let her sing the most popular song for girls her age, the Frozen hit song “Let it Go”. The adorable mini-version of Kime stole the hearts of the show judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr. quickly earning the highly-coveted ticket to Hollywood.
Kelley, who is the main star of the audition, did an awesome rendition of Maroon 5’s “Sunday Morning”. Based on Kelley’s performance, it seems that Hope inherited her talent from her 23-year-old mom.
Connick asked Hope: “There’s only one way she can go to Hollywood with you. How does she get to go to Hollywood?”
To which Hope replied: “She gets a golden ticket!”
