Miley Cyrus Goes Incognito and Interviews People About Her Music

Love her or hate her, Miley Cyrus will definitely make you laugh on this short segment she recently did for Jimmy Kimmel Live!

This took place last week before the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards which the pop star was scheduled to host. She interviewed random strangers at Los Angeles, disguised as “Janet,” an Australian reporter. Her purpose? Well, she wanted to ask people what they think about her and her music.

As you can easily guess, the results were absolutely hilarious.

Some of the people spoke with expressed strong dislike for her music and her suggestive on-stage antics, pointing out that she’s probably just hungry for attention. Cyrus, on the other hand, not only stayed cool about it but even played along.

The winning moment for me though was that last bit where a guy insisted she was Miley Cyrus and she tried really hard not to blow her cover. She was obviously caught on a dead end but how she handled the situation was truly funny.

About Miley Cyrus

The daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus first rose to popularity as a teen idol in Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana TV series. Her first smash hit single was “The Best of Both Worlds” (where she was credited as Hannah Montana) which debuted at number 92 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In 2010, she was ranked number 13 on Forbes’ Celebrity 100.

She eventually forsook her wholesome image for a more mature, provocative image that raised many eyebrows. Her music videos, concerts, and interviews are mostly filled with sexual innuendos. She has even admitted openly to using and loving cannabis, calling it “the best drug on earth.”

Because of all these, she has earned the ire of numerous parents and conservative groups, saying that she isn’t a good example to young people.
