Even more than a year after the release of the smash hit song from the Disney movie Frozen, a lot of aspiring singers are still producing awesome covers of “Let it Go”. In fact, the song became a stepping stone to fame by many amateur singers.
An FEU student’s cover of the hit song has been getting a lot of attention in the social media. The video uploaded by Facebook user Juris Estrada last January 16 featured Sacha Yhen effortlessly singing and totally nailing the Academy award-winning song. The video has gained more than 2,500 shares and over 14,000 likes on Facebook as of press time.
Originally performed by American actress-singer Idina Menzel, the song was composed by husband and wife duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Aside from bagging the Best Original Song in the 86th Academy Awards, the song also won the Critics’ Choice Award, Denver Films Critics Society, Phoenix Film Critics Society, and Radio Disney Music Awards.
