Live Selling for Rich People Goes Viral as Buyers Scramble to ‘Mine’ Luxury Bags

The live selling at an online shop recently went viral, with people dubbing it as “live selling for rich people” after seeing several buyers scrambling to “mine” luxury bags with prices that go as high as Php195k ($4,000)! Whoa.

Live Selling for Rich People Goes Viral

Luxury bags are quite expensive. Though there are, of course, a lot of cheap knockoffs and inexpensive ‘class A’ items that look quite similar to these authentic products, the rich people who know everything about these expensive brands will quickly know the difference between the real ones and the fake items.

While most people are content with buying the cheap knockoffs because such are sold for as low as Php1,000 (just around $20), there really are rich ones who don’t mind paying a lot of money for the authentic items!

Overseas Filipino worker (OFW) Katharina Narca shared some screenshots taken from a live selling event that showed several buyers scrambling to “mine” the luxury bags, knowing full well that the prices are so high because these items are authentic.

The live selling event was hosted by Filipina actress Lovely Abella who co-owns BenLy’s online shop with her husband, Benj Manalo.

The prices of the luxury bags really caught netizens’ attention. In one of the screenshots, a buyer commented “mine” to a black Chanel bag that costs Php195,000 ($4,000)! The same woman bought another Chanel bag for Php140,000 ($2,900).

Other buyers were able to purchase various luxury bags from the shop, including a YSL for Php100,000 ($2,100), a Gucci bloom for Php65,000 ($1,350), and a Chanel wallet on chain for Php95,000 ($1,950).

The prices are incredibly high, when viewed by ‘ordinary’ people; that’s why the post quickly went viral. Would you buy a bag with such high price tags?
