Good Samaritan Buys All of NY Vendor’s Roses and Tells Her To Give Them All Away

I love seeing random acts of kindness particularly in social media. Despite the chaos and negativities in the world, these good deeds certainly restore my faith in humanity.

A video filmed inside a New York subway in 2013 by Maria Lopez, an NY resident, recently made headlines after being shared in the social media Reddit. Currently, it has almost 4 million views on YouTube.

In the viral video, a young man was seen approaching the lady vendor to ask about the price of the flowers she sells.

According to the vendor, her flowers are priced at $1 each but can be purchased for $11 a dozen.

After hearing that she has 140 flowers to sell for the day, the generous man suddenly told her: “I’ll give you $140 for the whole thing.”

However, the kind man had one condition.

He told her: “But you have to do me a favor. You’ve got to give them out.”

This caused the woman to burst into tears. Overwhelmed by the good samaritan’s random act of kindness, the vendor gave out her flowers to random people inside the jam-packed train.

Anybody who wants a rose you, can come and get one! Free roses, help me out guys,” she was heard saying in the video.
