Girl with Down Syndrome Defies Odds, Sings “All of Me”

According to experts, only a few people with Down Syndrome will be able to sing. But this didn’t stop 12-year-old Madison Tevlin from chasing her dreams.

For her to be able to speak, Madison must use twice the standard vocal energy. Imagine how much effort she needs to exert to be able to sing! To make singing possible, Madison also worked hard to learn vocal techniques.

Other effects of Madison’s condition include hearing loss and having short term memory. Again, these didn’t become a hindrance to Madison’s goal. She memorized the lyrics of John Legend’s hit song which contains 348 words.

What’s even more interesting was Madison had a sinus infection on the day she performed the song. Now that’s one very motivated young lady!

Truly inspirational, Madison defied all odds and statistics related to her condition.

Her proud sister Zoie, who also manages Madison’s social media accounts, put together the inspiring video.

Watch, share, and be inspired by Madison’s heartwarming rendition of John Legend’s “All of Me”.
