Awesome Underwater Bedroom in Resort Allows Tourists to Sleep with the Fishes

Have you ever wondered how it would feel to sleep with the fishes or simply enjoy the idyllic life under the sea without getting wet? Then the underwater bedroom at the Manta Resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania, is among the best choices for you to try.

This awesome one-bedroom resort is set at sea, a few kilometers off the shore. The distance allows you to enjoy peace and tranquility yet still see land while relaxing in your quiet home.

YouTube user Aristides Serlemitsos was able to post a tour and review of the resort, showing the different parts of this nice hotel where people get to enjoy incredible amenities and awesome butler service while still enjoying privacy.

The middle deck features an open-air living room with comfortable cushions, separate toilet and bath, and a kitchenette. Meanwhile, the upper deck offers a sunbed where guests can relax under the stars or go sunbathing to achieve the perfect tan before going home.

The selling point of this idyllic resort is the underwater room with large glass windows that allow guests to admire the view of the fishes and other marine life around the resort. A lot of people would surely pay for this kind of view – a place where they can sleep and have fun while admiring the tropical fishes without getting wet.

Watch Aristides’s tour of this wonderful hotel. It would be great to visit this place someday.

Where is Tanzania?

The United Republic of Tanzania is actually a country in East Africa. The country is comprised of two previously independent entities: Zanzibar and Tanganyika. You can find the Manta Resort in Zanzibar.

Tanzania is a beautiful country whose vast lands are home to superb wildlife many of us have only seen on TV or in zoos. There are plenty of zebras, giraffes, and other forms of wildlife across the country – mostly because it features 16 national parks. As much as 38% of its land is rendered as a protected area for conservation; thus, many of these have retained their natural beauty.
