Adele Surprises Fans By Going Undercover As An Adele Impersonator

Some fans of Adele had the shock of their lives when they realized that their favorite singer has been hanging out with them all the while.

The prank happened at a BBC show where the multi-awarded artist teamed up with Graham Norton to pull the hilarious prank. Adele had a fake nose and chin so she can blend in with other Adele impersonators. She then introduced herself to them as Jenny who works a nanny.

She went as far as concealing her accent and acting nervous before taking her turn at the stage. In fact, she even pretended to miss her cue when she was about to sing.

Imagine everyone’s surprise when she finally started belting out her hit “Make You Feel My Love,” a song originally penned by Bob Dylan. The fans immediately went wild!

Describing the experience, Adele later said:

“I was actually worried the impersonators would think they were the butt of the joke and be insulted. After the reveal you could tell it really made their day; they were so pleased. That made me kind of happy. That one girl knew like right away, that’s impressive. The other girls couldn’t believe it.”

The girls even had the chance to hang out and chat with Adele later on after the show. Clearly, it was a dream come true for all of them.

The video quickly became a viral hit on YouTube, accumulating 33 million views in just one week.
