WATCH: Siblings Surprise Hardworking Dad with Brand New Car

MANILA, Philippines- Many kids dream of giving back to their parents after finishing school to show their gratitude for all the sacrifices they made to raise them. While some give back by doing everything to make their parents happy and comfortable, others shower their folks with gifts and dream vacations.

Nilo dela Cruz and his siblings decided to give their dad the biggest surprise of his life. In a viral video he shared on Facebook, Dela Cruz and his siblings were seen leading their father in a parking lot. The unsuspecting father was made to believe that they were lost, but little did he know that he was in for one big surprise.

Eventually, the siblings handed their father a key to a brand new car, a 2016 model of Chevrolet trailblazer.

According to dela Cruz, it was their way of giving back to their father who rode tricycles and jeepneys for the past three decades just to give them a great future.

“Sa wakas! After almost 3 decades of your mission in Pandi, hindi ka na magjijeep o sasabit sa jeep o kaya sasakay sa tricycle at sobrang matatagtag sa daan. Dad, sobrang saya naming magkakapatid na ngayon makakabawi na kami sa inyo. Maraming maraming salamat po Dad at mahal na mahal po namin kayo,” dela Cruz wrote.

Towards the end of the video, dela Cruz’ father was seen crying tears of joy. Clearly, the hardworking father’s sacrifices paid off as his children turned out all right.

Netizens were moved by the siblings’ touching gesture for their father. With over 78,000 reactions and more than 32,000 shares on Facebook, the Dela Cruz siblings’ act of kindness has certainly inspired netizens.
