Korean Girl’s Cover of Adele’s “Hello” Could Be the Best One So Far

Adele is back with another awesome single entitled, “Hello”, which is so popular that not only did it rack up over 532.5 million views on YouTube in just a month after it was uploaded, it also broke other song records and is part of an album that no one in this generation of free downloads would think a singer could actually sell!

Naturally, with a song so popular, thousands of covers were posted on YouTube mere hours after the original video was released. We certainly haven’t sifted through all those covers ourselves but one sounds so great and so close to the original version that it has taken wings on its own and gained close to 14.5 million views in less than a month!

The Adele cover was actually quite “dull” if you look at the setting – two students, one (the singer) facing the camera and another (at the piano) never even showing his face – yet the music was so startlingly beautiful that we can easily excuse the rather boring imagery in favor of the brilliant musical talent these two clearly have.

This version was made by students of Seoul Music High School in Seoul, South Korea. A lot of fans are comparing her with Adele, saying her cover pretty much hit the notes and sounded a lot like the English singer/songwriter but, of course, no one could ever be exactly like Adele except Adele herself. LOL.

Anyway, here’s the teen’s awesome cover of “Hello”; we sure hope Adele will meet up with this talented young girl if ever she does a show in Southeast Asia.

…and if you still haven’t watched Adele’s official music video, here it is:

Adele’s Very Successful Music Albums

Born Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, English singer and songwriter Adele is considered to be one of the best singers this generation has ever had. She does not rely on looks, body image, or crazy antics just to get fans to like her because her voice and her music do all the work – she is that amazing!

It was in 2008 that Adele released her debut album, 19. It was a huge success and had led to awards Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in the 51st Annual Grammy Awards in 2009.

But it was her second album (released in early 2011), 21, which truly propelled her to stardom and earned her numerous awards in 2012 (with record-tying six Grammy Awards!) and several mentions in that year’s Guinness Book of World Records.

Her third album, 25, only released in November 2015 might follow the footsteps of the second one, with the lead single breaking Taylor Swift’s record (for “Bad Blood”) of 20 million views on YouTube in its first 24 hours – “Hello” got more than 27 million views.

“Hello” also sold over 1 million digital copies within a week of release, breaking another record!
