Of course, while this might seem like discrimination (that only “ugly” people should sell in the streets), you could not deny the fact that a lot of beautiful girls would rather not do such a job but would prefer better options like becoming a saleslady in the mall perhaps or even joining beauty contests and other stuff that capitalize on their natural assets.
Thankfully, there is still hope in the youth of today – that many, like this young lady, are not self-centered and do not feel ashamed in doing something that might not be the classiest job in the world but something that would feed their families or even to help their parents out.
This is one of the main reasons why the Kwek Kwek Girl went viral. She is focused on selling the street food and making her customers happy. Many are praising her not just for her beauty but for being hard-working.

We finally have a name for the lovely Kwek Kwek Girl! According to Rapsey, her name is Precious Gem Naval Layug. We’re even more amazed to learn that she drives the motorcycle with sidecar she’s using to sell kwek kwek. Go, girl!
